Trade associations occupy an unusual position. They sit across an entire industry and hold visibility into patterns no single member can see from the inside. Turning that vantage point into something a member can open on a Tuesday morning is an engineering problem, and engineering is not what associations are staffed to do.
The usual answer is a custom build: a large capital project, a long timeline, and a codebase the association is left maintaining. UpTahr exists because that answer fits very few organizations. We build the platform once, keep building it, and license it to associations who put their brand on it and hand it to their members. The cost of the engineering is spread across everyone using it rather than carried by whoever went first.
The work is deliberately narrow. Regulatory and standardized industry data, peer benchmarking, member-authenticated delivery — that is the whole scope. We are not a general software consultancy and do not take work outside it.
